John Degnan
John Degnan, 47, lives in Brewster with his wife and two children. He has served in local government for 11 years and has a proven record of accomplishments. Degnan served as a trustee for the Village of Brewster before becoming Mayor in 2005.
Degnan has extensive experience working with a wide range of city, state and federal agencies in funding, planning and completing large infrastructure projects for the benefit of our community. He has been the lead negotiator for millions of dollars in grant monies that have led to numerous improvements in the Village.
Degnan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Fordham University, and completed postgraduate studies in Construction Management and Finance at New York University.
